About the Role
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. As a Fitter & Turner, you’ll be working within a dedicated, close-knit team and will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fault-finding of industrial pumping equipment. You’ll also travel to client sites across NSW, with occasional overnight stays (1–2 weeks per month).
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of industrial pump systems
Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics
Operate and interpret engineering measuring devices to calculate dimensions and tolerances
Work both on-site and in the workshop as required
Follow safety procedures and company protocols
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery
Skills & Qualifications Essential:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
1–2 years’ experience in maintenance and fault finding
Valid Australian ‘C’ class manual driver’s licence
Forklift licence
White card
Strong communication skills
Ability to pass regular drug & alcohol testing
Physically fit and comfortable working in challenging environments
Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability
Ability to work independently and within a small team
Willingness to travel and stay away for work when required
