Regional Leadership Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our regional operations in the Barkly region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving economic growth, reducing crime, and improving outcomes for Territorians.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the coordination and implementation of government priorities in the Barkly region.
* Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with government agencies, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
* Provide strategic advice to senior executives on service delivery and policy implementation.
* Represent the interests of the government at regional and national forums.
* Work with emergency recovery units to direct and coordinate response efforts.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed organisational leader to provide regional leadership and coordination for the Northern Territory Government in the Barkly region.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results in complex environments and will be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
About the Location:
Tennant Creek is the heart of the Barkly region and is synonymous with the cattle industry. It is also the centre of a resurgent mining industry.
The Traditional Owners of the area surrounding Tennant Creek are the Warumungu people, and their culture is very much alive and well.
Tennant Creek is home to over 3,000 people and has a real outback town flavour centred around one main street lined with trees and filled with locally owned stores.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of A$247,170.00/yr - A$247,170.00/yr.
An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered.
