About the role
We are seeking an experienced Leading hand and Tradesman/ Metal Roof Plumbers to join the team at Glidevale Roofing in Sydney for 2025, currently under New Ownership. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation of metal roofing systems on large scale projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality roofing solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roof sheeting cladding and rainwater goods
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards
* Collaborating with the project management team to coordinate installations
* Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any client concerns
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a qualified metal roofer or similar trade
* Strong knowledge of metal roofing materials, installation techniques, and safety protocols
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and integrity
* Physical fitness to perform physically demanding work
* EWP over 11m
* Working at heights training
