About the Opportunity

Council is seeking experienced Labourers to join their Parks and Recreation team, who will undertake of a range of horticultural duties as directed including the maintenance of Council's park assets and the operation of horticultural plant and equipment.

This position is based in Miles.

Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, you will:

* Operate of a range of horticultural plant and equipment in Councils parks, gardens and cemeteries;
* As part of the Parks and Open Space team, carry out maintenance to park assets;
* Complete allocated tasks consistently within agreed time frames; and
* Other duties as directed

About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

* A current Queensland C Class Licence. "MR" licence (Preferred or willing to obtain); and
* An OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card. (Preferred or willing to obtain)
