Conveyor Maintenance Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a field-based role, you will work on customer sites, responding to breakdowns and conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of conveyor systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication (boilermaker/welder) with a strong understanding of conveyor equipment operation and shutdown preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance checks on conveyors and associated components
* Respond to breakdowns and conduct repairs as needed
* Prepare equipment for shutdowns and execute maintenance activities during scheduled downtimes
* Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and improve overall system efficiency
Requirements:
* Australian recognized Cert III in Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder)
* Relevant conveyor experience and knowledge of equipment operation
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
