Perform a range of basic nursing and support duties within scope, including preparing for nursing procedures, cleaning equipment and maintaining local stock levels. Contribute to a physically and culturally safe care environment by following established policies, procedures, protocols and systems of work. Participate in quality improvement and evaluative activities through accurate recording, reporting and data collection as required. Undertake care activities that support learning and skill development in line with the qualification in which you are enrolled, within the defined organisational scope of an Assistant in Nursing. ENC/END Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care by undertaking assessments, routine procedures and care activities appropriate to the area of practice and within scope. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, plan, prioritise and complete nursing care tasks, demonstrating initiative, sound clinical judgement and accountability for own practice. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, including supporting and overseeing Assistants in Nursing and students in the provision of care. Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and research activities, supporting continuous improvement of patient and service outcomes.
