Jocelyn's Provisions is one of Queensland's leading bakeries. With a large and loyal customer base, we specialise in high-end, hand-made cakes, artisan breads, preserves, biscuits, slices and pastries.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for:
* Making our range of cakes, roulades, tarts, pies, fillings, puddings and special occasion products (all made from scratch).
* Contributing to the team with ideas for new products and special occasion items.
* Following all work place procedures, maintain WHS and HAACP standards of food handling.
* All product costing protocols and managing wastage.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful applicant will have:
* Have a proven track record of speed and accuracy when working with a large scale of hand made products.
* Minimum 2 years as a qualified pastry chef or 3-4 years in a similar position.
* Self motivated, hardworking and a team player.
* Evening shifts and weekend work required.
