You'll be the type of person who gets a buzz from making things happen. You will think strategically at C-suite level, shaping visions, building confidence, and aligning solutions with long-term regulatory and organisational goals while also working tactically with operational leaders to make sure those visions translate into delivery on the ground.
We're looking for someone who brings curiosity, commercial acumen, resilience, and a partnership-first mindset. Someone who can blend sector insight with consultative selling to open new doors, challenge conventional thinking, and support water organisations on their journey toward modernisation, compliance, and sustainability.

What we need now is the right senior commercial leader to bring this proposition to life shaping it with our experts, taking it to market, and establishing 1Spatial as a trusted partner for water companies on their digital transformation journey.
What you will do
* Own and grow strategic accountswithin the UK water sector, developing long term relationships with water companies, regulators, and key delivery partners to drive sustainable revenue growth.
* Engage senior stakeholders(C-suite, asset management,data, engineering, and operational leaders) to understand strategic priorities and align them with 1Spatial's software and solution capabilities.
* Shape and lead complex discovery engagements, helping customers articulate their transformation challenges arounddata-drivenasset managementhelping to define a roadmapthat will enabletheredata to supportregulatory compliance,improvedenvironmental performance, andgreateroperational efficiency.
* Position 1Spatial's COTS software and solution offeringsas critical enablers for AMP programmes, supporting customers from early vision through to funded delivery.
* Leadhigh-valuebids and proposals, coordinating presales, product, delivery, and partner inputs to create compelling, outcome-focused propositions aligned to customerobjectives.
* Work closely with marketing and leadership teamsto define sector messaging,account-basedcampaigns, and thought-leadership activity that strengthens 1Spatial's position in the water market.
* Provideaccuratepipeline management and forecasting, maintaining senior-levelvisibility of opportunities, risks, and revenue outlook through Salesforce.
* Represent 1Spatial as a trusted industry partner, attending and speaking at water sector events, forums, and customer workshops to build credibility and influence.
* Support and shape the water sectorgo-to-market strategy, using customer insight to inform product direction, solution development, andlong-termmarket positioning.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven water sector expertise:Demonstrable experience working within or selling into the UK water industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory drivers (including AMP programmes), asset management challenges, environmental obligations, and the role of data and digital transformation in improving operational and regulatory outcomes.
* Senior stakeholder engagement:Demonstrable experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders across water organisations and acting as a credible strategic advisor.
* Development of complex, high‐value opportunities:Experience identifying, qualifying, and progressing large, multi‐stakeholder opportunities within the water sector, using a consultative, outcome‐led approach to align customer priorities with software and solution‐based offerings.
* Pipelineownership:Experience owning and forecasting asenior-levelsales pipeline, using CRM systems such as Salesforce tomaintaincommercial accuracy and visibilityto achieve and exceed targets.
* Consultativeselling:Evidence of insight-led selling, shaping customer thinking and aligning software andsolution-basedofferings to strategic outcomes.
* Leadership of bids and proposals:Proven experience leading complex bid and proposal processes, coordinating inputs from marketing, presales, product, delivery, and partners,and producing high-quality, competitive,customer-focusedpropositions that articulate clear value and outcomes.
* Geospatial Experience:Knowledge ofplatforms such as Esri (ArcGIS), Safe Software FME, and VertiGIS, and the roles they play within enterprise data and asset management solution.
* Articulate the business value of geospatial:Experienceof translating technical capability into outcomes such as improved assetmanagement, data quality, operational efficiency, and environmental performance.
