Overview
The purpose of this center for trauma counseling is to train people in doing trauma counseling and to provide counseling care to victims of terrorism and violence and their families. Once this center is well established our vision is to organize satellite centers in other cities as well to serve the least of these in this country.
To provide counseling in the aftermath of violent incidents to train local people in trauma counseling and to oversee the day-to-day running of the center.
Responsibilities
* Deliver trauma counseling services to victims of terrorism and violence and to their families.
* Provide post‐incident counseling support.
* Train local staff in trauma counseling techniques.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the counseling center.
* Maintain program records and ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications
* Qualification in counseling with a focus on trauma and crisis management.
* Clinical experience in trauma counseling.
* Experience in training others in counseling skills.
