Salamanca Market Coordinator Role Overview
The City of Hobart seeks a skilled coordinator to oversee the Salamanca Market. This dynamic role requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with market stallholders, ensuring their success and enhancing the overall market experience.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize stallholder participation, driving commercial sustainability, and providing exceptional customer service.
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and provide excellent administrative support when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Stallholder Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with stallholders through proactive communication, developing engagement and communication plans, and providing daily administrative support.
* Commercial Sustainability: Assist in product assessments, enhance the product mix, coordinate licenses, and handle complex license breaches.
* Market Operations: Develop marketing plans, create new content and resources, manage onsite activations, and review the Stallholder operations handbook.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma or higher in marketing, communications, or events management.
* Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
* Current Driver Licence.
* HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
