Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to our CEO. This is a pivotal role that requires a confident, organized, and self-directed individual who can work effectively in a high-trust executive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the CEO's diary, travel, meetings, and briefing preparation. They will also coordinate governance requirements, including Board meetings and minutes, track progress on strategic initiatives and executive projects, oversee key documentation and corporate records for compliance, liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO, draft professional communications and compile reports, provide Secretariat support for the Board, maintain schedules and registers, and monitor priorities and ensure effective follow-up of executive actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, management, or a related field;
* Significant experience supporting senior executives;
* Demonstrated governance experience, including Board papers and compliance;
* Strong skills in project tracking and strategic coordination;
* Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities;
* High-level professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment;
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities;
* High computer literacy (MS Office & document management systems);
* A commitment to cultural safety and the values of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.
