Overview
Join to apply for the Full Stack Developer role at Randstad Australia. We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer / API Developer / Web Portal Developer to design, build, and maintain both the front-end and back-end of our web applications.
Responsibilities
- API Development: Build APIs using Golang and Java Script/Type Script, applying REST and GraphQL architectural patterns.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy scalable systems on AWS and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Modern Application Delivery: Use Docker and Helm to containerise applications and deploy to Kubernetes.
- Front-End Development: Develop accessible web applications with React and Type Script, adhering to WCAG 2.1.
- Dev Ops & CI/CD: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub and Git Lab; use Artifactory and Hashi Corp Vault.
- Testing & Quality: Write unit, integration, and other tests; collaborate with QA to ensure quality.
- Database Management: Administer Postgres and MySQL databases.
- SDLC Involvement: Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle from initial design to long-term maintenance.
Mandatory Requirements
- Citizenship: You must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
- Government Clearance: A minimum baseline government or NV-1 security clearance is highly desirable.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience building complex APIs with Golang and Java Script/Type Script, using REST and GraphQL.
- Strong familiarity with AWS and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience building containerised applications for Kubernetes using Docker and Helm.
- Experience creating accessible web applications with React and Type Script, with WCAG 2.1 expertise.
- Dev Ops expertise, including CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub/Git Lab and tools like Artifactory and Hashi Corp Vault.
- Ability to write comprehensive tests (unit, component, integration, functional) and collaborate with QA teams.
- Experience with database deployment and administration (Postgres and MySQL).
- Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC.
- Experience with Angular and/or mobile app development (e.g., React Native).
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail; excellent communication and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements while maintaining architectural integrity.
