We’re seeking a visionary Head of Data, Digital & AI (CIB) to lead the design, delivery, and adoption of Westpac’s enterprise CRM and drive the integration of advanced data science, digital solutions, and AI capabilities across Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB). This is a pivotal leadership role that will redefine how we manage client relationships, credit journeys, and balance sheet strategies—delivering smarter decision-making, personalized engagement, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the CRM and CIB Data, Digital & AI strategy aligned with enterprise goals. Lead end-to-end delivery of CRM and digital credit platforms, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. Embed AI-powered insights and advanced analytics into banker workflows and credit portfolio management. Champion digital transformation and innovation across credit journeys and securitisation. Influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change to uplift digital and data capabilities. Ensure compliance with AI governance standards and promote responsible innovation. What do I need? Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science; Master’s in Business Analytics or MBA highly desirable. 10 years in financial services with deep exposure to institutional banking processes. Proven track record delivering large-scale CRM and digital transformation programs in regulated environments. Strong understanding of Credit Portfolio Management, securitisation, and internal credit processes. Strategic thinking and commercial acumen. Strong program management and vendor negotiation skills. Familiarity with AI-driven client insight solutions and data platforms. Ability to lead cultural change and capability uplift.
