We are seeking a skilled and creative Human Resources Manager to join our team at W Hotels Sydney. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for executing strategies that attract, retain, and develop diverse premier talent.
About the Role
The successful candidate will assist the Director of Human Resources in leading day-to-day operations and providing human resources leadership to the business. This role presents an amazing opportunity to play a key part in the world's largest W Hotel.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Director of Human Resources in executing strategies that serve to attract, retain, and develop diverse premiere talent.
* Direct and work with human resource team members to carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Department, including talent casting, talent relations, total reward, performance management, retention strategies, and learning and development.
* Execute against objectives outlined in the Human Resources Business Plan and deliver services that meet or exceed the needs of talent and enable business success.
* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standard operating procedures.
About You
To be successful as a HR Manager/Assistant Director of HR, you will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for culture, be creative, thinking out of the box constantly, highly organized, and have an exceptional inter-personal skill.
Talent Profile
* Australian legislations, awards, and NES knowledge and related work experience.
* Minimum two-year experience as HR Manager or Assistant Director of HR in a large, busy, luxury hotel/hospitality environment.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication and MS office skills, and attention to detail.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
