Business Management Role
This is a full-time Business Manager position in an educational institution. The successful candidate will lead an office team, direct the work of others, and have strong leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in human resource and financial management systems. They should also have knowledge of financial legal requirements and practices.
The Business Manager will be responsible for achieving expected outcomes by managing staff effectively, resolving issues independently, and providing timely reports to senior management on matters related to finance, human resources, or school administration.
The role includes delivering school services, managing finances, general administration, human resources, and school resources.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and producing school publications and documents
* Managing annual budgets and regular financial statements
* Preparing funding submissions and administering government grants
The Business Manager will provide administrative support to the Principal and teaching staff, process student admissions, registrations, enrolments, and transfers, and implement induction programs for new staff.
Additional responsibilities include researching and preparing development programs for support staff, managing recruitment procedures, and providing authoritative advice on work practices and occupational health and safety standards.
