The Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to provide high-quality broking support for our insurance broking division. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance broking professional who is proactive, client-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Policy administration, including invoicing via the Insight Broking System
* Preparing quotations, negotiating with underwriters, and preparing reports
* Claims management and providing technical broking support
* Liaising with clients, underwriters, and account managers
* Building and maintaining strong client and insurer relationships
* Processing new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements efficiently
* Reviewing and negotiating renewal terms with underwriters
* Processing and following up on wage declarations
* Responding to broker enquiries within agreed service standards
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring excellent client service
* Keeping reporting spreadsheets up to date (claims status, debtors, etc.)
* Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Supporting business development through existing client interactions and identifying new opportunities
Key Skills & Experience

* Previous experience within the insurance broking industry (Minimum 5 years)
* Strong customer service skills and thorough product knowledge
* A proactive, can-do attitude with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
* Ability to explain the claims process clearly to clients
* Understanding of standard vs non-standard exclusions
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
* Advanced administration skills
* Experience with Insight, SCTP, and Sunrise (Insight Experience preferred)
* Experience with Winbeat (desirable)
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualification required (Diploma in Broking is an advantage)
