SAP SCM Functional Analyst - Medical & Dental Equipment

A consulting business is seeking a SAP SCM Functional Analyst to support the delivery and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) processes within regulated medical and dental equipment environments. This role is suited to a hands-on SAP functional professional who enjoys working across configuration, testing, and stakeholder collaboration within structured delivery programs.
The role is open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra, with an expectation to work onsite in the closest office 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA MM processes for medical and dental equipment
* Configure SAP MM functionality and support functional testing, defect resolution, and production support activities
* Collaborate with clinical, logistics, engineering, and procurement stakeholders to support asset planning and sustainment
* Develop and maintain materials master data, equipment records, and supporting documentation
* Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and process mapping activities
* Analyse supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements
* Support integrations between SAP MM and related modules including PM, WM/EWM, and FI
* Assist with change management, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement during upgrades and rollouts
* Ensure adherence to governance, risk, audit, and compliance requirements
* Contribute to knowledge sharing and support junior team members as required
Skills and Experience
* Experience as an SAP SCM / MM functional analyst or consultant, ideally within SAP S/4HANA
* Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes
* Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, functional testing, and defect management
* Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
* Experience working across cross-functional teams and multiple SAP modules
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Experience in healthcare, defence, or other regulated supply environments is desirable
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
* SAP MM or S/4HANA certification is advantageous
Security Requirements
* Australian Citizenship is required
* Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory
* NV1 clearance is highly regarded
