Job Description:
Clinical Nurse Educators are responsible for providing high-quality clinical education and training to nursing staff, promoting competence and enhancing patient care.
This role is based in the Renal Unit at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver clinical education programs tailored to meet the needs of nursing staff
* Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practice guidelines
* Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Relevant clinical or post-registration education qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the employer
* At least 5 years' experience in renal nursing and/or trainer and assessor certification
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
