Ongoing, Permanent | 0.45 FTE An exciting opportunity exists for a Consultant in Women’s Anaesthesia to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality care in a major public health service in Adelaide. This role provides specialist anaesthetic, acute pain, and resuscitative services for obstetric and gynaecological patients, with responsibilities that include: Pre-anaesthetic patient preparation and participation in pre-anaesthetic clinics Providing pain relief services for labouring women Delivering anaesthesia for elective and emergency O&G; surgeries Supervising and training anaesthetic registrars in line with the ANZCA curriculum Ensuring patient care aligns with evidence-based best practices Contributing to effective multidisciplinary teamwork About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent Fellowship of the Australian and Current Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia Demonstrated expertise in obstetric and gynaecological anaesthesia Experience in a large public hospital setting Robust communication and interpersonal skills What’s on Offer
