We’re currently seeking an exceptional hospitality leader to join our Resort Operations team as Senior Director – Resort Operations, overseeing properties across Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, and New Zealand. This is a pivotal senior leadership role based in Melbourne, reporting directly to the Vice President, Operations.
About the Role
The Senior Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse regional portfolio of resorts, ensuring performance excellence, owner satisfaction, and commercial success. You’ll lead a talented group of General Managers, driving accountability, service culture, and innovation aligned with the company’s global standards and growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership across resort operations within VIC, TAS, WA, and NZ.
- Deliver robust results in guest satisfaction, profitability, compliance, and operational standards.
- Develop, mentor, and inspire General Managers to achieve excellence.
- Lead rollout of key initiatives that enhance service culture and operational capability.
- Partner with support functions such as Finance, HR, Marketing, Procurement, and Legal.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, capital planning, and cost management.
- Champion safety, sustainability, and quality across all locations.
- Support future growth opportunities, including acquisitions and new resort integrations.
About You
- Proven senior operations leader within hotels, resorts.
- Exceptional people leader with strong financial and strategic acumen.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site portfolios across regions.
- Excellent relationship builder, communicator, and change champion.
- Strong commercial understanding of P&L; management, compliance, and governance.
- Ability to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
