About the role
Reporting into the Infrastructure & Cloud Security Manager, the Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting V/Line's infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Key Accountabilities include:
* As the Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting V/Line's infrastructure and cloud solutions hosted in AWS.
* You will also be responsible for assisting the Cloud Architect who is responsible for designing and building scalable and secure architecture solutions.
* You will also be responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of custom workflows and scripts within V/Line's AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment that can be used for integration, deployment, monitoring, compliance or other routine tasks.
* In this role you will be required to build, monitor and manage V/Line's cloud infrastructure.
* You will be required to provide on-call assistance to enable support in a 24x7 environment.
About you
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:
* Must have hands-on experience managing and administrating AWS Cloud services, and/or Azure and O365 Cloud Services
* Must possess a pro-active attitude, as well as being passionate about learning new processes/technologies
* You will be proficient in using Microsoft Suite of Products (O365 & SharePoint). You will also be proficient in assessing and understanding end user requirements
* You will bring extensive experience in AzureAD administration, experience in scripting as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, backup, archive and storage
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or Analytical discipline (highly desirable)
* Certification in AWS Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified SysOps Administration (highly desirable)
* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (highly desirable)
Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate's aligned skills and experience to the position.
