About The Role
Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, you will work closely with Sales Managers, Mill Operations, Finance, and Transport Planning to ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service. We seek a proactive, eager learner, passionate about service and continuous improvement. Your duties will include:
1. Accurately entering and monitoring customer orders from placement to fulfillment.
2. Reviewing order details to ensure timely processing and correct documentation.
3. Responding promptly to customer phone and email inquiries.
4. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
5. Keeping up-to-date with product ranges, stock, and customer-owned product availability.
6. Building a rewarding career in an innovative, collaborative environment.
Experience, Qualifications, and Competency Requirements
* Willingness to learn about our customers' businesses and offer value-based solutions, or proven experience in customer service, administration, or internal sales.
* Strong phone presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Problem-solving ability, initiative, attention to detail, and good time management.
* Previous sales and service experience or related ability.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Desirable: experience with SAP systems and understanding of LPS Sales, Freight, Logistics, and Manufacturing processes.

About Us
Liberty Primary Steel operates the historic Whyalla Steelworks, about 400km from Adelaide. The facility includes ironmaking, steelmaking, and rolling-mill operations, and is Australia's only manufacturer of special grade billet and steel long products. It plans to develop green steel facilities using natural gas and hydrogen.
