KS Life Care is a registered NDIS service provider based in Melbourne.
We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive Support Worker with massage skills to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will support participants with a range of daily and community-based activities.
In this role, the participant also requires massage support as part of their support needs, so applicants with massage experience or relevant qualifications are strongly preferred.
Your duties may include:
* Providing hands-on massage support (as required by the participant)
* Assisting with daily living and routine management
* Supporting participants with appointments and community access
* Providing companionship and social support
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and wellbeing
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is positive, patient, and supportive
* Has experience or training in massage (e.g. remedial massage, myotherapy, relaxation massage, etc.)
* Enjoys supporting others in a respectful and professional manner
* Has good communication and interpersonal skills
* Is reliable and able to build professional relationships
* Can adapt to different participant needs
Requirements (Preferred)
* Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role
* Massage qualification or relevant experience (e.g. Diploma of Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, etc.)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Working with Children Check (if applicable)
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain)
