Work with our team to provide quality care services to older community members in the lower Hunter region.
Key responsibilities include supporting clients with their daily living, personal care, general house cleaning, shopping, respite and social support and other requirements specified in their care plans. You will follow the clients' support plan and report any changes observed to the Care at Home Coordinator.
Additionally, you will provide basic clinical care including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery and recording basic clinical observations. You will liaise with families and health professionals to ensure all client needs are met.
You will bring a Certificate III in Aged or Community Care, previous experience within the aged care sector, a Current First Aid Certificate, a Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance. You will also have the ability to work weekends and weekday afternoons.
