About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven Business Development Manager to join a well‐established organisation operating within the commercial refrigeration and hospitality equipment sector. This role is responsible for driving growth across Victoria and Tasmania by developing strong dealer relationships, expanding project sales, and identifying new direct and indirect market opportunities.
You will manage a diverse portfolio of dealer and end‐user accounts while actively building demand through engagement with hospitality groups, consultants, specifiers, and designers. From prospecting and proposal development through to negotiation and account management, this is a hands‐on role for someone who thrives on autonomy, relationship‐building, and delivering results in a territory‐based environment.

Duties
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealer and customer accounts across VIC/TAS, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Manage approximately 50 dealer accounts, driving engagement, performance, and sustainable growth.
* Grow refrigeration project sales through active engagement with hospitality groups, consultants, designers, and specifiers.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across hospitality, retail, fleet, independent supermarket, and FMCG channels.
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, training materials, and commercial solutions.
* Implement targeted sales activities to achieve growth and revenue targets.
* Use CRM systems to manage pipeline activity, opportunities, quotations, and account plans.
* Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and updates against key objectives.
* Work cross‐functionally with customer service, operations, engineering, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams to ensure seamless delivery.
* Travel regularly across the territory, including regional and occasional interstate travel, to support account development.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum three years' experience in B2B sales or business development.
* Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts within a territory structure.
* Experience selling into hospitality, refrigeration, foodservice, retail, or FMCG channels will be highly regarded.
* Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills.
* Confident communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
* Highly organised, self‐motivated, and able to work autonomously in a remote capacity.
* Strong CRM proficiency with experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and account plans.
* Results‐driven mindset with a proactive, hands‐on approach to generating activity.
* Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to customer service excellence.
* Willingness to travel regularly; current driver's licence required.
