We're currently searching for a skilled and hard working Administration Officer Parks & Gardens to join our organisation in a temporary full-time capacity up to and including 1 May 2026.
Position details

About The Opportunity
This role will handle administrative support for the Parks & Gardens team, including assisting the Coordinator, Team Leaders, and staff; liaising with clients per customer service standards; forwarding client requests to the appropriate departments; maintaining a tidy depot and storage area; and supporting capital works project planning and delivery.
What You Will Bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
* Relevant post secondary qualification or minimum 3 years secretarial and administrative experience.
* Demonstrated experience in facilities/depot/site management.
* Working knowledge of all computer applications associated with the position, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet, Authority, Procurement processes, PowerPoint and Desktop Publishing.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
* High level of written and verbal communication skills.
* Current Driver’s Licence.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $70,611.32 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
