Senior Event Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Event Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire event sales cycle from lead generation through execution to post-event follow-up.
About the Role
You will work independently and collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team and Executive Chef to ensure our Conference & Events offering consistently exceeds guest and client expectations. Your primary goal is to drive banqueting revenue and oversee the successful planning and execution of events.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain awareness of the hotel's revenue targets and forecasts, making commercially sound decisions to meet or exceed banqueting revenue goals.
* Oversee the full event process: proposals, site inspections, contracts, banquet event orders, and post-event invoicing.
* Lead weekly pipeline meetings, actively pursue new revenue opportunities, and drive sales conversion.
* Build strategic partnerships and sponsorships to increase brand visibility and business development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration or Event Management.
* Familiarity with Delphi, Meeting Broker, CVent and HotelKey is preferred.
* In-depth knowledge of Conference and Events operations.
* Ability to work independently and have a flexible work approach.
