About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced self-motivated Chef to join our team. You must have creative flair with a solid track record in delivering high-quality cuisine. Your tasks and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
· Preparation and cooking of meals ensuring promptness, freshness and highest quality of dishes
· Ensuring compliance with all food and service standards
· Ensuring kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of meals
· Promoting a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons
· Stock control including ordering of correct quantities, storing under the correct conditions, monthly stock takes, quality and price
· Rectifying any arising problems or complaints
· This is a long-term role so only permanent residents or applicants with the ability to work long term need apply.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of customer service, time management and coordination skills. You will be hands-on in your approach, meticulous and well organised and thrive on achieving outstanding results within the team. You will have passion for delivering quality food. You will also have:
· Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
· Certificate IV Qualification
· Effective communication skills
· A strong knowledge of food safety legislation & regulations
· Attention to detail
· Positive attitude and professional manner
· Full Australian Work rights
· Flexibility with rosters and be available to work days, nights and Public Holidays
