Head of Finance (Web3 / Crypto / Infrastructure)

A rapidly scaling Layer-1 protocol at the frontier of data, AI, and decentralized infrastructure is looking for a world-class Head of Finance to lead treasury, token strategy, and financial operations across a global ecosystem.
Following a successful mainnet launch and hyper-growth across its contributor network, the organisation is now ready to bring in a senior finance leader who can bring rigor, structure, and strategic depth to a fast-moving Web3 environment.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of traditional finance, crypto markets, and token economics, partnering directly with the founders to shape capital strategy across fiat, stablecoins, and on-chain assets.
You will lead:
* Manage allocation across token assets, stablecoins, and fiat reserves
* Design hedging, liquidity, and yield strategies
* Implement mechanisms that support long‐term network stability
Token & Liquidity Management
* Oversee liquidity across global exchanges
* Work closely with market makers, trading desks, and funds
* Optimise token flows and digital asset management across the organisation
* Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow discipline
* Maintain audit readiness and compliance across global entities
* Deliver clear, actionable financial reporting to leadership
* Support capital strategy and investor engagement
* Manage relationships with major token holders, exchanges, and partners
* Negotiate liquidity, treasury, and investment structures
Ideal Background
* Finance, investment banking, corporate finance, VC, or similar
* Exposure to Web3, crypto markets, DeFi, or token ecosystems (or strong willingness to learn)
* Experience managing treasury, liquidity, and investor relationships
* Strong understanding of financial instruments and market mechanics
* High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to operate in a high‐trust, fast‐moving environment
* Systems thinker who can bring structure to complexity
* Mission‐aligned and long‐term oriented
