Job Opportunity
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our ward.
Responsibilities
* Assess patient needs and develop individualised care plans.
* Perform interventions as part of holistic patient care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers and visitors.
* Maintain accurate patient records.
* Liaise with the multi-professional team regarding planning and delivery of care and cohesive discharge planning.
* Inform the ward manager of any potential complaints or patient/carercarer dissatisfaction.
* Actively participate in admission/assessment procedures within the ward and be involved in ongoing care.
* Support and supervise nursing staff, coordinating resources within the unit.
Requirements
• Proven experience at band 6 in an acute medicine environment.
• Enthusiastic, flexible, well-motivated registered nurse who thrives on working at a fast pace, is quick-thinking, and can work well under pressure.
• Ability to balance operational delivery, patient safety, quality and patient experience.
