Qualified Locomotive Drivers
Aurizon is seeking qualified Locomotive Drivers to join our Dry Creek depot in Adelaide South Australia.
Aurizon Bulk Central you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating locomotives ensuring the smooth transport of freight across our extensive rail network.

Relay operation time spent in the crew van will be paid at your regular hourly rate.

About the Role
Operation of locomotives including mainline shunting and marshalling.
Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures.
Maintain a high level of on-time running.
Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives.
Provide high-quality customer service to enable Aurizon to meet its business objectives.
About You
Strong commitment to safety and Aurizon's safety strategy "I Know Safe I Choose Safe."
Availability to work a 24 / 7 shift roster.
Experience working with ARTC Code of Practice & Safe Working systems (SA, WA, VIC, NT) is advantageous.
Experience operating air brake.
Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience.
A Certificate IV in Rail Operations.
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
Must successfully pass pre-employment checks, including driving history, reference checks and a CAT 1 Rail medical.
Positions are not FIFO/DIDO.
