We specialise in planning, supervision and execution of safe traffic control solutions across road works, construction, events, lane closures and line marking projects. Safety, compliance and professionalism are at the core of everything we do.
We are now seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor – Traffic Management to support operational performance, drive team leadership and strengthen client relationships within our region.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of traffic management services while supporting business growth across your allocated area.
This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast‐paced environments, enjoys building strong teams, and understands the operational demands of traffic control.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Compliance
Oversee daily traffic control operations, ensuring contract compliance and service delivery excellence
Conduct site audits, IVMS audits and traffic control assessments
Lead incident investigations and support return-to-work processes
Ensure WHS compliance and proactively manage risk
Manage fleet, equipment, signage and job documentation
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper inductions and PPE compliance
Leadership
Lead, mentor and develop field and office‐based staff
Manage performance and provide regular feedback
Coordinate staffing and rostering to meet workload demands
Foster a positive, accountable and safety‐focused culture
Business Development
Strengthen relationships with existing clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Collaborate with internal divisions to maximise service offerings
Support pricing, contract compliance and service improvements
Administration & Systems
Oversee timesheets, invoicing and reporting accuracy
Maintain records in systems such as FastTrack360, Donesafe and Traffio
Provide operational reports to senior leadership
Credit Card Reconciliation
About You
You will bring:
Minimum 2 years' operations experience within building & construction (Traffic Management highly desirable)
Strong understanding of traffic control standards and legislation
Proven leadership and team management capability
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
High attention to safety, compliance and quality
Required Certifications
Current WTM/AWTM & BWTM and TC Accreditation
Construction Safety Awareness (White/Blue Card)
Australian Driver's Licence
Experience using FastTrack360, Donesafe, Traffio, Zudello and MS Office will be highly regarded.
