The Physiotherapist will work autonomously, undertake a varied workload and provide interventions in home-based settings, making a difference to clients' independence and well-being.
There is no nursing home work.Our multidisciplinary team includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants.The Physiotherapist will provide person-centred care with opportunities to:Travel across the Goulburn Valley region, working in home and clinic settingsWork with clients, carers and families to promote independence and home safetyAdvise on walking aids, strength, mobility and balance; develop and implement home exercise programsDevelop goals and care plans to help clients remain at home and active in the communityWork with a diverse range of clients and health conditionsParticipate in student training programsContribute to service development and quality improvement initiativesWe are looking for a Physiotherapist with:Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and eligibility for membership of a professional associationCurrent registration with AHPRA as a PhysiotherapistKnowledge of delivering Physiotherapy in home, group and community settingsKnowledge of the service system and ability to liaise across health and community careNote: If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
