Overview
Account Executive – Matterport Sydney: Drive new business and grow existing accounts across AEC, commercial real estate, retail, facilities management and hospitality for medium‐to‐large customers. Deliver the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing while supporting post‐sale customers.
Responsibilities
* Generate pipeline, close deals, and support customers after contract close.
* Deliver and exceed quarterly targets for the Matterport portfolio (SaaS, hardware, services).
* Generate pipeline by prospecting new and existing accounts.
* Collaborate with marketing to create territory plans, including trade shows, exhibitions, events, networking and customer events.
* Deliver sales, technical presentations and demos online and on‐site, including with the Pro 3 LiDAR camera.
* Maintain accurate forecasting with Salesforce and Clari; apply tools such as Gong, Groove, Highspot, LinkedIn and Looker.
* Work cross‐functionally with Services, Customer Success, Support and Pre‐Sales teams to support customers.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Proven sales track record with 100%+ quota attainment across multiple business cycles.
* Minimum 6 years of field sales experience in Australia, with demonstrable SaaS sales history.
* Ability to conduct 10‐12 customer meetings per week and close multi‐year SaaS deals.
* Expertise in value‐based solution selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC methodology across mid‐to‐enterprise deals.
* Experience building pipeline for a 4‐9 month sales cycle.
* Experience in the SaaS technology space serving clients in real estate, facilities management, manufacturing, travel & hospitality, or construction.
