We're looking for a Client Operations Lead to join Vantage and lead the way in operational coordination, compliance advisory, and onboarding process improvement.
Role Overview
Vantage is seeking a Client Operations Lead to act as the primary liaison for client onboarding and operational processes. This role does not directly execute onboarding or KYC tasks, but requires comprehensive knowledge of the onboarding team's workflows and a deep understanding of compliance requirements. The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams, providing expert guidance, escalating issues, and driving process improvements.
This is a process coordination and compliance advisory role, ideal for professionals familiar with CFD and equity trading operations, with a strong compliance mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client onboarding, KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring workflows, becoming the subject matter expert for the onboarding team.
* Act as the primary point of contact between Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams, escalating issues and ensuring effective resolution.
* Provide expert guidance on compliance requirements and regulatory obligations within operational processes.
* Support process improvement initiatives and SOP development, ensuring operational efficiency, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
* Deliver training and guidance to the team on process and compliance best practices.
Candidate Profile
* 3–6 years of experience in financial services operations, particularly in client onboarding, KYC, AML, or account management.
* Deep understanding of financial compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
* Thorough knowledge of client onboarding workflows and operational processes.
* Experience in CFD, equities, or derivatives trading operations is highly desirable.
* Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills, able to bridge Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams.
* Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred.
* Detail‐oriented, proactive, and able to independently drive process improvements and compliance initiatives.
