Located in the heart of Brunswick Heads, the iconic, community centric Hotel Brunswick is seeking an Assistant/Duty Manager with a passion for great food, cold beers and live entertainment and music to join our customer focused and energetic Front of House team. You would assist the Venue Leadership Team & the collective venue team to successfully operate the hotel's Food & Beverage operations in a hands-on, Front of House capacity.

As an Assistant Manager, you will operationally be the face of our venue – getting to know our locals & showcasing world class music in Brunswick Heads.

Role Purpose

- To lead through Redcape’s purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics.

- To support your Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations

You would work cohesively as a member of the Front of House Team, helping to taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience. The key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Collaboratively working alongside or within various teams as we strive to offer an outstanding customer experience.

- Lead a large, diverse team in a fast moving environment.

- Have customer focus approach to our work – always having the attitude to make someone day.

- Ability to work in a variety of departments and flexibility to adapt to a fast paced F&B; environment.

- Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.

- Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.

- Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with our Hotel's operating hours.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.

- Possess a current/valid RSA & RCG & ARCG required

- Valid authority to work in Australia
