As a trading representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships across South-East Queensland, helping to strengthen our position in a highly competitive market.

1. Take ownership of procuring and pricing ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials within guidelines as determined by the Trading Manager and legislative requirements.

2. Monitor key performance metrics (price, intake, transport, bins allocations, etc.) and collaborate with the Transport department on site logistics to ensure all targets are met.
\
3. Complete monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner and participate in meetings to discuss and review results as required with both internal teams and customers.
\
4. Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, solving issues while maintaining positive client relationships.
\
5. Manage costs in line with financial policies and procedures.
\

7. 3+ years in an Account Management, Sales, or Buyer role.
\
8. A bachelor's degree majoring in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly regarded.
\
9. Proven expertise in relationship building, with the ability to quickly build rapport across all levels of the business and external supplier base.
\
10. Extensive experience in negotiation and effective closing of deals.
\
11. Exceptional interpersonal skills, internal and external stakeholders' management
\
12. Analytical approach to identifying market opportunities.
\
13. Knowledge and understanding of the recycling industry is highly regarded.
