The Psychologist will undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
The Team The Psychology team works across inpatient and outpatient settings and across all age ranges utilising a broad range of clinical skills.
All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role This role has a central focus on working with people with complex chronic medical conditions, including diabetes.
It may also include working closely with the Metabolic Psychologists and team, to support people's readiness for bariatric surgery including assessments, individual and group intervention programmes.

Salary and Benefits Award/Classification: Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 3Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 pro rata, per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.Salary packaging: You'll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
