We are looking for a chef to head our kitchen team at Dona Cocina Mexicana. Our menu pulses with the bold flavours and rich spices of the Mexican culinary scene with elevated South American dishes on the horizon.
About the Role:
Lead daily kitchen operations, whilst showcasing your culinary skills to execute a modern twist on a Mexican Menu
Proven experience managing Food COGS, Labour Management, Stock Management and Food Safety Compliance
Working with the group Executive Chef to ensure a highly skilled, engaged and well trained team
Collaborate with the Front of House team to ensure exceptional guest experience
Ensuring compliance with Food Safety standards and WHS regulations
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a leader with previous experience as a Head Chef in a similar style venue. The successful candidate must hold a valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and be an experienced Chef looking to progress, upskill and grow within a family run hospitality group. * Work well under pressure;
* Can implement and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards;
* Be positive and have a 'can do' attitude;
