Midwifery Advisor
Service Delivery Directorate - Child, Youth & Families Division
About the role
The Midwifery Advisor will provide strategic leadership and expert clinical guidance across our maternity and perinatal services. This senior role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the design, implementation, and evaluation of safe, high quality, woman centred care that supports mothers, babies, and families across the district.
The Midwifery Advisor will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to strengthen integrated models of maternity care, enhance clinical governance, and support a capable, confident midwifery workforce. As part of a progressive service committed to culturally responsive, trauma informed, and person-centred practice, this role provides the opportunity to shape innovative approaches that improve outcomes across the continuum of pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.
We are seeking a dynamic leader with strong midwifery expertise, a commitment to quality and safety, and a passion for advancing maternity care.
