Our Client that supports Australians by efficiently delivering high-quality, accessible services and payments on behalf of the government are looking for a Senior Objectstar Software Developer on a long Month Contract.
Duties of the Senior Objectstar Software Developer:
* Developing and supporting Objectstar applications,
* Support Objectstar data migration project and subsequently application code transformation.
* Lead and create software and technical designs for the realisation of highly complex development solutions.
* Develop strategy to ensure high quality code and long-term maintenance of a product's code base.
* Provide specialist technical advice on software development and maintenance.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Must have experience with Objectstar, COBOL and JCL.
* Experience working highly independently under broad direction and act collaboratively.
* Experience leading analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.
* Develop and maintain a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
