About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity where you will deliver coaching sessions using a non-therapeutic strengths-based approach. You will support carers to explore their goals, reflect on their journey, and take steps towards wellbeing.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate programs in accordance with training and guidelines
* Provide one-on-one and group coaching to carers to achieve required outcomes
* Create an environment that carers find welcoming and empowering
* Develop positive relationships with carers built on Wellways values
* Engage professionally and positively with external and internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* A minimum Diploma in Coaching, Counselling, Community Services or related field
* The right to work within Australia
* A current valid driver's license and ability to undertake travel
* The NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course)
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid)
