About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of primary health care delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members. Greater than two years clinical experience in corrections, primary health care, emergency or rural and remote health would be highly regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence‐based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate staff and manage delegated resources including prioritising needs and supporting day‐to‐day changes.
* Demonstrated ability to support and lead quality improvement and research initiatives within the work unit, contributing to the use of evidence based practice to facilitate improved patient outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
