We have an exciting role in our Burton operation for an experienced and talented Branch Manager.
The Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of our Burton site in South Australia. We are looking for a self-starter who has experience and knowledge of transporting Dangerous goods and food grade liquids along with an unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant operation.
A key component of the role will also be recruitment, onboarding, and retention of quality operators to complement our customers' needs now and into the future.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring safety is at the forefront of everything we do, every day.
* Provide a high standard of verbal and written service to internal and external customers.
* Timely and effective scheduling of transport operations within the confines of the companies BFM accreditation.
* Ensure equipment is maintained to our already high standards and presented to the highest level.
* Ensuring resources are effectively and efficiently managed to meet operational requirements.
* Drive customer satisfaction and maximize resources through effective decision-making and fleet optimization.
Qualifications
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Previous experience with transport and storage of dangerous goods.
* Experience with effective recruitment and management of team members.
* Above average computer literacy skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Reliable, flexible and team orientated.
* Sound knowledge of Basic fatigue management, mass management, WH&S standards and other relevant transport compliance Acts and Regulations.
