Job Title: APS5 Communications Officer
The role of an APS5 Communications Officer is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing evidence-based communication strategies, campaigns, and activities.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and execute evidence-based communication strategies, campaigns, and activities.
o Create high-quality content, including writing and editing a wide range of communication products for both internal and external audiences.
o Manage complex timelines and procurement activities with accuracy.
o Contribute to the development of campaign submissions and regular reporting.
o Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative and effective outcomes.
o Assist on other health campaigns as required.
* Requirements:
o A solid understanding of the government campaign process and experience in managing campaign activities.
o Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic communication plans.
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong editing abilities.
o Demonstrated experience creating content for diverse audiences and various communication channels.
o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvements and proposing solutions.
o The ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver under pressure.
o Experience in managing record-keeping and procurement processes.
o A collaborative team player who can build strong and productive working relationships.
