The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Tester to undertake an Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification.
During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will experience a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing
This is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to be able to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn. When you complete the program successfully, you will have completed all competencies for an Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems.
This traineeship will be based across depot locations mainly across the south-east of Melbourne. Travel between depots will be required throughout your traineeship.
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Strong mathematical and problem solving / analytical skills
* Enthusiasm to learn about and adapt to new equipment that we are regularly introducing into the business
* A good positive attitude and a willingness to work as a team will no doubt see you succeed in your new role
What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role you will have:
* Previous experience / background in the electricity industry will benefit your application but is not essential
* A customer service background is also strongly beneficial
* Well-developed verbal, interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
* Ability to handle difficult situations and prioritise workloads
* Either have a current drivers licence or have obtained a drivers licence by January 2026
