Warehouse Store Person / Picker & Packer

We are seeking a Warehouse Store Person / Picker & Packer to join our busy Burleigh Heads warehouse. You will receive training in all areas of responsibility and always have support.
Key responsibilities include
* Pick, check, pack and dispatch customer orders - attention to detail, a very high level of accuracy, and the ability to work to set time targets are imperative
* Heavy lifting involved
* Cut lengths of tube and chain
* Receive inbound goods - checking product quality and quantity
* Manual unloading of shipping containers
* Assist supervisor in the management of bulk storage and bin storage locations
* Participate in stock take procedures
* Maintain a safe and tidy workplace at all times
* Carry out other general warehouse duties as instructed by supervisor
* Actively work to improve the warehouse environment
Applicants must possess
* Previous warehouse experience in a stores / picking and packing role
* Suitable level of physical fitness
* Excellent reading, written and oral communication skills
* Strong customer focus with demonstrated experience
* Capacity to handle fast paced and demanding environment
* Ability to work in a team
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated problem solving skills
* A positive and self-motivated attitude
* Must be a Queensland resident
