The Opportunity
This role is an exceptional chance to elevate your career. As a Speech Therapist, you'll play a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team, managing a diverse caseload and delivering personalized care to clients in their homes. Your work will help clients maintain their independence and continue enjoying the activities they love.
What You'll Do
* Travel to patient's homes to provide meaningful therapeutic supports in context.
* Assess, diagnose, and screen language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
* Complete documentation as required, including detailed reports.
* Collaborate with family, physicians, allied health team, and teachers to design effective treatment plans.
* Collaborate with the allied health team to create targeted group programs.
* Evaluate patient progress and implement changes to therapy programs as required.
* Use tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
* Stay up to date with developments in treatments with a minimum of 20 PD points per annum.
* Supervise allied health assistants and students.
* Perform other tasks as directed.
About You
