Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Clerk – Alfred Health
Join to apply for the Radiology & Nuclear Medicine Clerk role at Alfred Health. The department provides general x-ray, Ultrasound, CT, Angiography/Fluoroscopy, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine services. The successful incumbent will be trained in various areas of the department and must be flexible with shift times.
Responsibilities
 * Coordinate requests and registration of patients
 * Ensure patients are processed for their tests
 * Provide support across different areas within Radiology & Nuclear Medicine as required
Skills and Experience
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 * Sound clerical, phone, booking and reception skills
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
 * Adaptability and flexibility to change
 * Ability to follow directions and comply with Alfred Health & departmental policies and procedures
 * Understanding of medical terminology is desirable; previous clerical experience in a medical setting is an advantage

Position Details
 * Location: The Alfred
 * Type: Part-time (48 hours per fortnight, 3 days per week) with varied shift times (start times range from 6:45am to 12:45pm)
 * Grade: Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 1 Level 1-5 (HS1-HS17)
 * Permanent position
