The Package
$107,723.72 - $119,029.04 gross per annum + 12% super + 3.5% CLA. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.
The Role
Council is seeking a professional to join the Contracts and Projects Team, to provide engineering support and assistance in planning and delivering Council’s capital infrastructure projects.
In This Role You Will
- Develop and deliver capital civil infrastructure projects from investigation, design through to construction.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and time estimates, and lead delivery of required project approvals.
- Prepare and manage contracts, and apply procurement processes.
- Coordinate and supervise consultants and contractors, including surveillance of construction sites.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Currently holds a recognised bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Has demonstrated working experience in applying project management methodologies and practices to civil engineering works.
- Has experience with procurement processes and contract administration.
- Has sound time management, oral and written communication skills for a range of audiences.
- Demonstrates knowledge in engineering standards, codes and legislation.
